Interactive Seminar "Project Writing and Management with YiA"

”Volunteers Centre Skopje” invites you to participate in two-days seminar about project management within ”Youth in Action” Programme of the European Commission. The aim of the seminar is to give members of non-profit organizations basic knowledge about management of international youth projects and preparing grant applications within framework of ”Youth in Action”. We will learn about different opportunities that ”Youth in Action” offers to organizations and young people, we will learn to write objectives and to a design program of a youth exchange - a project which brings young people from two or more countries together, providing them with an opportunity to discuss various topics and letting them discover different social and cultural realities. Within the seminar participants will work in small groups to complete the project proposal for a youth exchange program and will be coached to fill in various sections of the grant application.

From 01.04.2010 to 21.05.2010 “Volunteers Centre Skopje” is hosting 14 young people from France, Portugal and Estonia in a short-term project “Faces without Masks”. Volunteers will assist in organizing alternative theatre festival “Faces without Masks” in MKC, as well as lead their own workshops and become a part of performances within the festival. "Faces without Masks" volunteers meet at on-arrival training

When you arrive in your EVS country, every volunteer has to do an on-arrival training. At first you might think that you don’t need it. Maybe you think it is a little bit boring for your first days in a new country to stay in a room and talk about EVS. But maybe you’re wrong… Because on-arrival training is like your first step in an unknown space - it is very important to be supported on your way to discover. And you will see, there is a lot of way to be trained and to learn, and it can be also very funny and joyful. You will make many exercises to discover your own creativity, your own capacity of being open and awake.
